Lol that made me laugh, the “I’m not a pussy!” Part. Not in a mocking way, it just made me laugh.
I don’t think many people will disagree with you on this.
Do you remember in high school when people would say shit like “Hot Boyz” or had their own rap groups like “Playa Killa Boyz” or some shit?
There’s a lot of trans guys who say “transboi kayden pansexual ready to mingle dysphoria does not make you trans” or “transboyz united” or some shit. They make it a theme. They usually believe being transgender is not a medical condition, and tend to have really weird random names like skylaydifer and shit.
I’m not against anyone saying trans boy entirely, but it takes away from the political term trans men. It makes it seem more social and less political/medical, which is harmful since the intent on recognition would be to ensure medical coverage for our transition, in order to live our lives productively.
It just makes it sound like some trendy boy band club, “the trans boys.” I’m waiting for someone to start identifying as a trans baby. It’s bound to happen. It will! I called it.
I see your point and I agree. But I’m not entirely sure Ayden did it to be a bother. I could see someone adding it to their page if they run a trans themed blog and didn’t wanna see overly official but more personal.
Not sure but I see your point and from the way I described it, that makes sense to me.
That’s the thing, they don’t want to be men. I’m sure a decent few of them would be horrified to have a typical man’s body; hairy, sweaty and..male. They want to be boys; thin, hairless and cute. Peter Pan Syndrome at its finest.
